Networking at Florida Museum of Photographic Arts
Chuck Close Exhibition, FMoPA

We invite artists of all disciplines, cultural organizations and arts supporters to join us for an evening of professional and social networking. Once a month we get together to visit an arts organization and see it up close and personal. It’s a great chance to make new connections, start collaborations and hear more about the arts organizations that are shaping the arts in Hillsborough County.

What Happens?

We’ll catch you up on what’s happening at the Arts Council and everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves. We encourage you to bring business cards, promotional flyers, or brochures to share with other attendees. Our host for the evening will talk about their latest activities and the philosophy that guides them. Whenever appropriate, we’ll take a tour of their facility.

These get-togethers tend to be small- to medium-size groups which makes it easier to get to know each other. Not everyone makes it to each meeting and that’s ok. Feel free to drop in any month. Because attendance varies, there’s a good chance you’ll see people you haven’t met before.

Our Arts Networking meetings are usually during the second week of the month and last about one hour. Meeting times will vary depending on the host’s schedule.  (Sign up for our email list to get word of our next meeting.)
