Everything Counts: Strategies for Grant Writing Success
The Hillsborough County Grants Collaborative has announced their Annual Conference will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15 at ZooTampa’s Reilly’s Reserve meeting space. The cost is $49 for the all-day conference which includes lunch. This annual event is popular with those wanting to learn from professional grant writers and tends to fill up fast. Early registration is advised and the deadline to register is Oct. 31.

8:45-11:30 Grant Writing Strategies
11:30-12:15 Lunch session with Special Guest Speaker
12:30-1:30 Mini Grant Review: You become the reader and scorer.
1:45-3:30 Building a Competitive Needs Section: Where to get, and how to use current data!

The conference is presented by the Hillsborough County Grants Collaborative with sponsorship from United Way Suncoast and ZooTampa at Lowry Park.
The Hillsborough Grants Collaborative (HCGC) is an all-volunteer run Collaborative that provides opportunities for grant writers in all types of non-profits and governmental agencies to come together to learn, network and share ideas and insights.
The members of the Collaborative Executive Committee are passionate about giving back to the community of grant writers through assisting and providing the most current and usable information available. They are familiar with trends in the grant writing business and try to provide meaningful meetings. The HCGC meets every other month on the third Wednesday from 11:30-1:00. There is no cost for the regular meetings.
