Yes! Be part of creating our future!
The Arts Council is getting ready to celebrate its 50th year in Hillsborough County. As we look toward that anniversary, it’s a great time to not only look at what we’ve accomplished but also the right time to plan our future. YOU can help us chart the direction we need to go.
Since Jan. 3, our new Executive Director Martine Collier has been meeting with arts leaders, artists, business leaders and government officials in all areas of Hillsborough County. During this listening tour she’s been talking about the Arts Council’s services, the new possibilities that are ahead us and getting feedback on what’s important from each person’s perspective. This first 100 days has included more than 148 meetings and there are more on the calendar.
We want to hear from you.
Now it’s the community’s turn. We need the residents of Hillsborough County to tell us what the next version of the Arts Council should look like. That means we need creatives, cultural workers, arts supporters, teachers and parents to tell us what the Arts Council should continue doing and what we need to change. What kinds of programs would serve your needs?
Take this survey and tell us what you think — about what we do now and what you would like us to do.
