GRAMMY Museum: Call for 2018 Letters of Inquiry
The GRAMMY Museum Grant Program is seeking applications to help facilitate the support of music preservation and research projects. Funded by The Recording Academy, this program awards grants yearly to organizations and individuals to support the archiving and preservation of music, and research projects related to the impact of music on the human condition.
HOW TO APPLY:
A letter of inquiry is required before submission of a full application. To read the guidelines and to submit a letter of inquiry for the 2018 GRAMMY Museum grant cycle, please visit the GRAMMY Museum website. The deadline each year for submitting letters of inquiry is Oct. 1.
These GRAMMY Museum grants fund the following areas:
- Scientific Research Projects – awards grants to organizations and individuals to support research on the impact of music on the human condition. $20,000 maximum award
- Archiving And Preservation Projects – awards grants to organizations and individuals to support efforts that advance the archiving and preservation of the music and recorded sound heritage of the Americas.
- Preservation Implementation: $20,000 maximum award
- Assistance, Assessment and/ or Consultation: $5,000 maximum award
