Art On 12th is a free art event taking place in the heart of Channel District.
It’s in it’s 3rd year and has grown to up to 1000 people attending. It will take place on November 3, 4 and 5, along 12th St and will include several restaurants, businesses and the Washington Street Park.
This event is designed to help recreate the community of art that existed before the development of Channel District. Event is a “free flowing art walk” featuring a DJ, Band, live performances and a pop-up handmade market in Maven, and artists with booths (or tables) all along 12th Street. Art on 12th anticipates up to 1500 people each day of the event, from Channelside and other areas of Tampa. The event also coincides with The Channel District Home Tour, so there will be lots of people on the streets walking about!
It’s a 3 day event and the art that is displayed inside of the businesses will stay throughout the weekend. We are looking for live painting, sculpture, photography etc. Artists are encouraged to have several sizes and relatively smaller price points to encourage quick and easy sales. The artist retains 100% of all sales.
Special Notes: The Venues Are Not Responsible For The Purchasing Of The Art. All artists are responsible for their own table, booth, setup etc. This is a young market with no room for overnight storage and we ask that you take down your setup each day, so please make it easy on yourself!
November 3: 6 pm-10 pm
November 4: 11 am-4 pm
November 5: 11 am-4 pm
Website and a short bio of you and your work to Nick Buchanan, email@example.com before October 30 so that we can organize all participants!
