Academy for the Business of Art

Academy for the Business Side of ArtDo you wish you knew more about all those details on the business side of art? Worried that you are missing something that you don’t even know you need?
The Academy for the Business Side of Art is a monthly series we began in 2015 designed to help those in all disciplines understand how to start and run a business in the arts. Attending the Academy sessions will enable you to spend less time struggling with business issues through presentations from experts at Hillsborough County’s Entrepreneurs Collaborative Center.

The Academy sessions cover budgeting and administrative resources; financial best practices; promotional tools; and marketing communications practices that will strengthen your abilities. All sessions are taught by experts in the topics and there’s a different subject each month.
